Healthy Children
Menu
We operate using a three weekly menu which rotates so the children get a good variety of food and nutrition.
We offer breakfast which consists of cereals, milk and fruit juice. Snack
Is a fruit platter, etc. Lunch is a two course hot meal which varies (eg. casseroles, lasagnes, roast dinners and yoghurts, fruit kebabs and meringue). The children then have high tea in the afternoon which tides them over until tea at home. This varies from sandwiches, crackers, scones etc. Food is provided for all children right throughout the nursery.
Exercise
We have several outdoor play areas including a pirate ship which is covered in safety flooring for the protection of the children. They have bikes, bats, balls etc out there and have great fun playing outside.
The children also have music and movement and do games inside to keep them active.
The children get to let off some steam in the ball pool as well so they have lots of opportunities throughout the day for exercise.
